Catherine Witt serves as Dean and Professor at Regis University's Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions, where she leads the Nursing department with over 30 years of clinical experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. She emphasizes nursing as a calling centered on empathy, intellectual rigor, and service to humanity across all life stages.
Her research and teaching focus on Nursing Education, Neonatal Care, and Ethics in Patient Care, cultivating critical thinkers who prioritize compassion and evidence-based practice. She believes Regis-educated nurses are distinguished by their ability to serve the most vulnerable with grace and intellectual curiosity.
