Catherine Somody

Catherine Somody, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Practice in Counseling at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), College of Education and Human Development. With over 40 years of experience in education and counseling, she holds certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, school counselor, and special education counselor. Dr. Somody has dedicated 29 years to school counseling and supervision and over 13 years to teaching and supervising counseling students at UTSA.
