Professor Catherine Ross is a distinguished academic and researcher at Edinburgh Napier University, affiliated with the School of Health and Social Care. She holds the rank of Professor and is actively engaged in cardiovascular health research, with a focus on preventative cardiology, heart failure, biomarkers, and nursing care systems. She also holds visiting professorships at Manchester Metropolitan University and Edinburgh Napier University, and serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
Her research interests span cardiovascular health, obesity and heart failure, biomarkers, preventative cardiology, and nutrition and bone health. She leads significant research projects, including a PhD supervision on the relationship between obesity and heart failure biomarkers.
