Catherine Mary Cobham is an Honorary Lecturer at the School of Modern Languages, University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on modern Arabic fiction, particularly Iraqi literature from the mid-20th century, and she emphasizes textual analysis within cultural and literary contexts. She has translated works by prominent Arab writers like Mahmoud Darwish and Naguib Mahfouz, contributing to cross-cultural literary exchange.
