Professor Catherine Le Guerrier is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of New Brunswick. She is currently completing her doctoral dissertation at Osgoode Hall Law School, focusing on the socio-economic and historical context of consumer contracts for credit.
Her academic background includes an MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Montreal and BCL/LLB degrees from McGill University, where she received the Principal David L. Johnston Medal for Contribution to the university community.
Professor Le Guerrier clerked for the Hon. Clément Gascon at the Supreme Court of Canada and serves as a Director of Écosociété, an independent publishing house. Her research has been recognized through prestigious scholarships including the Joseph A. Bombardier Scholarship and Ontario Graduate Scholarship.
