Professor Catherine Itsiopoulos is an academic at RMIT University, serving as Interim Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) of the STEM College. Her research focuses on nutrition science, public health, and chronic disease prevention, with a strong emphasis on Mediterranean dietary interventions. She leads projects addressing cardiovascular health, diabetes, and metabolic disorders.
