Catherine Holborn

Catherine Holborn is a Senior Lecturer in Radiotherapy & Oncology at the School of Health and Social Care, University of Sheffield Hallam. She holds roles as Training & Education Lead at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC), focusing on innovations in cancer care, rehabilitation, and education. Her expertise spans Prostate Cancer, Cancer Rehabilitation & Survivorship, and Personalized Care, with a strong emphasis on online/distance learning delivery. She contributes to national organizations like Prostate Cancer UK and the UK Association of Supportive Cancer Care.

Education qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy and Oncology, PGD in Radiotherapy and Oncology in Practice, and an MSc in Prostate Cancer Care. She previously served as a Superintendent Radiographer at Nottingham City Hospital and transitioned to academia in 2003.
