Catherine E Corder is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of History & Geography at The University of Texas at Arlington. She has been actively teaching a wide range of undergraduate courses in English, History, and Disability Studies for over a decade.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of literary studies and cultural history, with a focus on disability studies, book history, print culture, and graphic narratives. She explores how early printed texts and modern multimodal forms represent identity, embodiment, and cognition.
Her teaching portfolio includes foundational courses such as Rhetoric and Composition I & II, as well as advanced seminars like Book History and Print Culture and Cyborgs and Prosthetics, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach.
