Catherine Corrigall-Brown is Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Arts. An award-winning scholar of social movements, political sociology, and social psychology, she studies identity, protest trajectories, and the funding of collective action.

Research Interests
Her research integrates social movements, political sociology, and social psychology, with a focus on identity, mobilization dynamics, and media framing. Current projects compare Indivisible groups across U.S. cities and analyze federal funding patterns for Canadian NGOs.

Graduate Supervision & Service
