Catherine Choong

Catherine Choong is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on pediatric endocrinology, metabolic disorders, and genetic conditions such as Prader-Willi Syndrome. She has contributed to over 96 publications and actively participates in collaborative research networks globally.

Her research interests include growth hormone deficiency, metabolic features in congenital disorders, and childhood hypertension. Key projects include studies on growth hormone substitution effects and the impact of exercise in cancer survivors. She has led or co-investigated grants such as the NHMRC Equipment Grant for the BOD POD GS-X and projects on Prader-Willi Syndrome and childhood cancer late effects.
