Catherine Bent is a Professor at Berklee College of Music since 2010, specializing in Music Theory, Harmony, and Ear Training. She teaches across disciplines including Composition, Arranging, Jazz Composition, and String Department. Her research focuses on Brazilian instrumental styles like choro and forró, for which she developed Berklee’s first course offerings in the genre.
