Caterina Moschieri is an Associate Professor of Strategy at IE Business School, IE University. Her research focuses on corporate and competitive strategy, particularly mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, and organizational design in international contexts.
Moschieri's work examines how firms navigate institutional changes, policy risks, and geopolitical challenges. Recent research explores board diversity implications in divestitures, multinational responses to host government hostility, and strategic adaptation to deglobalization trends. Her publications also investigate leadership diversity effects on corporate social responsibility and the strategic use of organizational heritage in brand management.
She has received multiple research awards including IE University's Sustainability Research Award (2021, 2022) and grants from the Ramon Areces Foundation. Moschieri serves on editorial boards of leading management journals including the Journal of Management Studies and Strategic Organization.
