Caterina Longo is a Full Professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, affiliated with the Department of Surgery, Medicine, Dentistry and Morphological Sciences with interests in Transplantology, Oncology, and Regenerative Medicine. She specializes in dermatology, oncology, and medical imaging, focusing on skin cancers like melanoma and basal cell carcinoma. Her research emphasizes diagnostic techniques such as dermoscopy, reflectance confocal microscopy, and optical coherence tomography. She teaches courses in Systematic Pathology and Specialist Medical Areas for Nursing and Medicine programs.
