Cassilda Mariza Queiroz is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Marketing, Operations and General Management Department of ISCTE - Lisbon Business School. She is also a member of the U-Shift Laboratory at Instituto Superior Técnico and serves as a Mobility Expert at URBACT and Vice-President of the UITP Mobility Research Committee. Her work focuses on transportation systems, urban mobility, and quality management.
- PhD in Transportation Systems (CERIS, IST - University of Lisbon)
- Certified Project Manager (PMP) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Her research spans Transportation Engineering, Urban Mobility, and Behavioral Economics in Transport, with particular emphasis on school commuting, mode shift analysis, and sustainable transportation policy. Recent publications address public transport adoption using advanced modeling techniques like latent Dirichlet allocation.
Queiroz actively contributes to academic communities as a reviewer for journals and organizer/editor of conference proceedings, including the 8th Transport Research Arena (TRA 2020) and the 22nd European Workshop on General Transport (EWGT 2019). At ISCTE, she teaches courses in Technology and Quality Management, Transportation Management, and Operations Management.
