Cassie Young

Cassie Young is a Lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy at Baylor University, affiliated with the Robbins College of Health & Human Sciences. She previously served as associate faculty at Baylor DPT from 2021 to 2024, focusing on musculoskeletal coursework.

• Education: Bachelor of Science (John Brown University), Doctor of Physical Therapy (Texas Woman’s University), currently pursuing Doctor of Science (Messiah University)

Research Interests: Cassie specializes in residency and fellowship education, with expertise in orthopedic physical therapy, manual therapy, and musculoskeletal practice. Her work emphasizes clinical integration and postgraduate training programs.

Scientific Awards: She holds prestigious certifications as a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT). Additionally, she serves as Program Director for the NAIOMT Sports Residency Program.

Teaching: Cassie currently teaches DPT 6620 Musculoskeletal Practice I and DPT 6360 Clinical Integration II, contributing to the physical therapy curriculum at Baylor University.
