Cassie Cacace is an Assistant Professor and Community Engagement Director in the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) program at Converse University. She is actively involved in the Graduate School and serves as Faculty Liaison for the MMFT Alumni Committee, strengthening graduate-university connections.

Dr. Cacace employs a postmodern approach in her clinical work and research, focusing on mental and relational wellness for healthcare professionals facing stigma. Her work explores Murray Bowen's theories on systemic anxiety, creative arts therapy, and religious trauma. She integrates cultural humility and practical clinical skills into courses like Clinical Practicum, DSM-5 and Systems Theory, and Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in MFT.
Her recent publications examine teletherapy adaptation during the pandemic and emotional labor in healthcare professionals. Dr. Cacace also emphasizes collaborative, ethical supervision for future therapists.
