Cassandra Tran is an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University, appointed in 2022. She holds a PhD in Classics from McMaster University (2023), and previously served as the 2021-2022 Crake Classics Fellow at Mount Allison University and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University. Her research focuses on Roman Comedy, gender/sexuality in antiquity, and queer temporalities in classical texts.

Research interests include ancient drama, Augustan poetry, and intersections of queer/gender theory with classical studies.
