Dr. Cassandra Lee Quave is an Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology and Human Health at Emory University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on ethnobotany and the discovery of antimicrobial agents from natural sources. She has presented at academic institutions such as McMaster University, including a BBS Seminar Series talk titled “Ethnobotany and the targeted discovery of antimicrobials from nature” in March 2024. Her work bridges traditional medicinal knowledge with modern drug discovery, addressing critical challenges in antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases.
