Dr. Cassandra Groth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior at Augusta University and a psychologist at East Central Regional Hospital (ECRH). Her roles include providing forensic evaluations, treating forensic populations, and supervising trainees.

Research Interests focus on intimate partner violence and trauma in incarcerated populations, ECT applications in forensic psychiatry, competency restoration, false confessions, and death penalty-related psychological phenomena. Her work bridges clinical practice with forensic system challenges.
