Dr. Cassandra Chapman is an Associate Professor of Marketing and ARC DECRA Fellow at the School of Business, The University of Queensland. Her research focuses on the social psychology of charitable giving, effective and ethical fundraising, and charity scandals. She holds a PhD in the psychology of charitable giving from UQ and has been recognized with awards such as the AFP Early Career Emerging Scholar Award (2023) and the Gabriel G. Rudney Memorial Award (2019). Her work bridges academic research and practical insights for nonprofits, emphasizing transparency, ethical tensions, and trust in fundraising.
