Cassandra Boness is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of New Mexico (UNM), specializing in Clinical Psychology and Diversity and Health Data Science Across the Lifespan. She leads the Boness Addictions Lab (BAL), a research team within UNM's Center on Alcohol, Substance use, and Addictions (CASAA), focusing on substance use disorders, harm reduction, and psychometric assessment development.

Research Interests
Cassandra Boness investigates the etiologic and maintenance mechanisms of addiction, emphasizing person-centered approaches and harm reduction strategies.
