Casper H. Venter

Casper H. Venter is a Clinical Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Forensic and Investigative Science at West Virginia University. He teaches forensic-related courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, directs forensic facilities, and serves as graduate faculty for research projects.

His expertise spans seized drug analysis, drug chemistry, latent fingerprint development, and laboratory management. He previously led clandestine laboratory investigations in South Africa and contributed to national ASTM standards as an OSAC sub-committee member.
