Casie Fedukovich is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at North Carolina State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a B.A. in Creative Writing, Journalism, and Professional/Technical Writing from Concord University (2002), an M.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Tennessee (2006), and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric, Writing, and Linguistics from the University of Tennessee (2011). Her research focuses on writing program administration, academic labor dynamics, composition studies, class politics, body politics, and qualitative research methodologies. Fedukovich has published extensively on topics including feminist WPAs, GTA preparation, somatic approaches to writing instruction, and activist mentoring in composition studies. She has been actively involved in cross-tier collaborations to improve professional identity development and advocate for equitable academic labor practices. Her work emphasizes transformative approaches to education and institutional change, particularly in addressing issues of contingency and ethical hiring practices. Fedukovich is affiliated with the Ph.D. program in Communication, Rhetoric, and Digital Media at NC State.
