Casey Scheibling is Assistant Professor jointly appointed in Sociology and Social Psychology at University of Nevada, Reno. His research examines digital fatherhood, gender construction through social media, and work-family dynamics during COVID-19.
Publications analyze how dad bloggers reconstruct fatherhood ideologies and masculinities. Current projects investigate 'tradwives' discourse and parental well-being.
Funded by SSHRC grants, his work appears in Journal of Marriage and Family, Sex Roles, and Symbolic Interaction. Teaches Sociology of Sexualities, Qualitative Research, and Social Psychology of Gender.
