Casey Nokes is an Adjunct Professor of Law with substantial experience in state and federal litigation. He is a partner at Cable Huston LLP, representing corporations and individuals in complex civil litigation, arbitration, and appeals. His expertise spans corporate governance, securities fraud, commercial disputes, and bankruptcy proceedings. Prior to joining Cable Huston in 2011, he worked at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco, focusing on multi-million dollar commercial disputes and bankruptcy proceedings.
- Education: J.D. from Notre Dame Law School (2005).
- Moot Court: Captain of the Barristers Moot Court Trial Team.
His legal practice emphasizes litigation before federal and state courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Oregon Supreme Court. He has significant experience in FINRA arbitrations and bankruptcy litigation. Nokes was honored with the Edward F. Barrett Award for excellence in trial advocacy.
