Casey Nelson

Casey Nelson is Professor and Chair of Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design. He holds an M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD and a B.F.A. in Illustration from Brigham Young University. Nelson has extensive professional experience as a senior artist at Disney Interactive, where he contributed to projects including Toy Story 3, Disney Infinity, and My Little Pony. His creative practice spans children's book illustration, video game development, and character design.

Nelson's interdisciplinary research interests bridge illustration, narrative development, and character design. He maintains an active freelance practice and previously taught at Brigham Young University.
