Casey Golomski

Casey Golomski is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Anthropology at the University of New Hampshire's College of Liberal Arts. He also coordinates Africana Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Brandeis University and a B.A. in Sociology from Saint Norbert College.

His research explores life-death thresholds, memorialization, and critical events through lenses of medical/cultural anthropology, African studies, gender, and religion. Key projects include racial dynamics in elder care (God's Waiting Room), grassroots pandemic responses (Funeral Culture), and recovering Regina Gelana Twala's anthropological manuscript.

Recent articles examine aging, digital divides, care ethics, and biopolitics, with methodologies spanning ethnography, narrative analysis, and multispecies studies.
