معرفی
Prof. Carsten Honerkamp is a Universitätsprofessor at RWTH Aachen University, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Natural Sciences. He holds positions at the Chair of Theoretical Physics C and the Institute of Theoretical Solid-State Physics. His research focuses on quantum many-body systems, employing advanced methods such as the functional renormalization group (fRG) and machine learning to study correlated electron systems, topological materials, and moiré heterostructures.
Key research areas include electronic instabilities in graphene, Weyl semimetals, and twisted bilayer systems, as well as the interplay between spin-orbit coupling, magnetism, and superconductivity. His work also explores computational techniques for modeling complex systems, including parquet equations and data-driven approaches.
Prof. Honerkamp's recent studies address topics such as topological superconductivity in chiral systems, spurious self-feedback in epidemiological models, and the application of invertible neural networks to condensed matter physics. His affiliations include the RWTH Aachen Department of Theoretical Physics, with offices in Building 1160 at Templergraben 59, Aachen.
