Carroll Beauvais is a Lecturer in the Kilachand Honors College and CAS Writing Program at Boston University. With an MFA in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, she teaches writing across disciplines while promoting inclusive pedagogical approaches.
Her pedagogical research focuses on intersectionality and strength-based learning frameworks that challenge traditional deficit models in education. She provides writing support for biomedical engineering capstones and previously taught in business and health sciences programs.
Beauvais is an accomplished poet with work published in Prairie Schooner, Mid-American Review, and other literary journals. Her forthcoming collection 'Preverbal' will be published by Lit Fox Books in 2025. She is currently researching a memoir on healthcare experiences.
