Carrie Axt

Carrie Axt is an Assistant Professor of Speech Language Pathology and Clinical Educator at the University of Mary's Saint Gianna School of Health Sciences. With 20 years of clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings, she focuses on improving quality of life through speech pathology interventions.

Her clinical expertise spans neurogenic communication disorders, dysphagia management, and child language/literacy development.

Axt's practice has included early intervention, schools, acute hospitals, outpatient care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facilities. She integrates this diverse experience into training future speech-language pathologists.
