Carolyn Glogoski

Carolyn Glogoski is Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at San José State University. She holds a PhD from The Wright Institute and MA from CSU San José. Her clinical and research expertise focuses on gerontological occupational therapy, particularly neurodegenerative conditions and mental health in aging populations.

Research examines cultural dimensions of elder care through ethnogeriatrics frameworks, depression recognition in older adults, and rehabilitation strategies for dementia patients. Publications analyze caregiving challenges across diverse communities and interventions for age-related neurological decline.

Courses taught include graduate seminars on neurodegenerative disorders and undergraduate clinical practice modules. Her work bridges clinical practice with sociocultural analysis of aging experiences.
