N’Arwee’t Professor Carolyn Briggs AM is an Honorary Professor at RMIT’s College of Design and Social Context, specializing in Indigenous knowledge systems. She is a Yaluk-ut Weelam clan Elder from the Boon Wurrung nation, with over 40 years advocating for Indigenous youth and cultural heritage. Carolyn holds a PhD in Philosophy (RMIT, 2020), exploring Elder roles through oral traditions.

- Prior roles: Elder in Residence (2019–2022), Swinburne University lecturer, and Boon Wurrung Foundation Chair
Research Interests: Focuses on Indigenous oral traditions, cultural preservation through modern mediums (e.g., textiles, AR), and children’s well-being via sensory play. Collaborates with institutions like the Lowitja Institute and RMIT’s Future Play Lab.
