Carolyn B Lamm serves as a Lecturer and Distinguished Faculty Chair of the International Arbitration LL.M. program at the University of Miami School of Law, where she teaches International Investment Arbitration. She also functions as Adjunct Faculty at the International Arbitration Institute. In addition to her academic roles, she maintains an active international arbitration practice at White & Case, regularly representing sovereign states and corporations in high-stakes disputes.

Ms. Lamm has served as counsel in landmark international arbitration cases including representing the Russian Federation in the $50 billion Yukos arbitration enforcement litigation, representing Uzbekistan in multiple ICSID cases where she successfully defended against billions in claims, and handling Abaclat v. Argentina (the first mass claim in investment arbitration history). She has also served as an arbitrator in ICSID and other international proceedings, and held leadership positions including President of the American Bar Association.
