Carolyn B. Allard, Ph.D., is a Professor and Program Director at the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) of Alliant International University. She earned her B.A. (Hons.) from Queen's University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oregon, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Veteran’s Affairs San Diego Healthcare System (VASDHS) and UCSD.

Her work spans randomized clinical trials on PTSD treatments, including telemedicine delivery and genetic predictors of outcomes. Awards include the Top Downloaded Article (2022), Outstanding Poster Award (2020), and Best New PTSD Book (2019). She leads the STRIVE Lab, focusing on trauma recovery and violence prevention, and recently investigated mental health among Ukrainian evacuees post-invasion.
