Caroline Verdier is a Senior Lecturer in French at the University of Strathclyde, with an honorary fellowship at the University of Edinburgh's School of Literatures, Languages and Cultures. She specializes in French and Francophone Studies, focusing on 20th/21st-century literature, Gender Studies, and Medical Humanities. Her research emphasizes women's writing about illness narratives and creative practices, particularly Belgian literature and cultural identities.
