Caroline Roeder

Prof. Dr. Caroline Roeder is a Professor of Literary Studies/Literary Didactics at the Ludwigsburg University of Education, specializing in children's and young adult literature and media. She serves as Vice Dean for Research in Faculty II Cultural and Natural Sciences and directs the Center for Literature Didactics (ZeLd). Her academic career includes roles at the Universities of Bremen, Münster, Augsburg, Osnabrück, Hanover, and Duisburg-Essen. She co-edits major journals and book series in her field.

• Research focus: GDR children's literature, post-1989 narratives, political engagement, and cultural memory.
