Caroline Mburu is a Medical Anthropologist and Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews. Her work examines socio-ecological dimensions of zoonotic diseases in East Africa, focusing on community knowledge systems, risk perceptions, and structural determinants of health outcomes.
Mburu's research investigates:
