Dr. Caroline Krejci is an Associate Professor in Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering at UT Arlington's College of Engineering. Her research develops agent-based models for sustainable systems, focusing on food supply chains, renewable energy adoption, and crowd logistics. Awarded IISE's Sustainable Development Best Paper (2023) for student collaborations.
Research Programs: 1) NIHR i4i project on digital health for long-term conditions; 2) USDA-funded regional food logistics; 3) NSF CAREER award for crowd logistics design; 4) Urban FEWS nexus modeling integrating food-energy-water systems.
Current Projects: Leads $532K NSF CAREER initiative on crowd logistics; USDA collaborations on perishable food distribution; Development of heat emergency alert systems for vulnerable populations.
