Caroline Gurvich is an Associate Professor and clinical neuropsychologist at Monash University, serving as Deputy Director of the HER Centre Australia and Head of the 'Cognition and Hormones Group'. Her research focuses on understanding how hormones influence cognitive functioning in women's mental health, including premenstrual mood disorders, menopause-related 'brain fog', and the role of sex hormones in cognitive aging. She combines neuropsychological assessments with eye movement research to characterize cognition. Gurvich has over 120 publications and has received awards such as the Swinburne Neuroimaging Institute Early Career Research Grant and the Australian Museum Eureka Prize nomination. She supervises PhD candidates and leads projects on cognitive interventions for women's mental health, ADHD in women, and the MothersMatter Intervention for pregnant women with mental illness.
