Caroline Gentile is an Associate Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law, specializing in Corporate and Securities Law, Law and Economics, and the intersection of economic analysis with legal frameworks for business enterprises and capital markets. She played a foundational role in establishing Fordham's Corporate Law Center, serving as its first Assistant Director and later Director.

Professor Gentile teaches courses in Corporations, Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Securities Regulation, and Quantitative Methods for Lawyers. Her research integrates economic theories of the firm and finance into legal analysis of corporate law and sovereign bond markets. She has served as a Visiting Associate Professor at Widener University School of Law and worked as a corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Currently, she chairs the Law Student Perspectives Committee at the New York City Bar Association and serves as General Editor of the Capital Markets Law Journal.
