Dr. Caroline Clason is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at Durham University and Co-Director of the Institute for Hazard, Risk and Resilience. With 15+ years of experience in glaciological research across Greenland, Arctic Scandinavia, Iceland, the Andes, and the Alps, she specializes in glacial hydrology and its implications for water security and environmental quality under climate change.
Research Interests: Glacier hydrology, water security in glacial catchments, contaminant accumulation/release in glacial systems, paleo-ice sheet dynamics, and glacier-related hazards. She integrates art-science and citizen science approaches in her work.
