Caroline Cauffman serves as Associate Professor at Maastricht University's Faculty of Law, specializing in Private Law within the Maastricht European Private Law Institute and Law and Tech Lab. She holds dual appointments as Associate Professor in Private Law and Assistant Professor in Contract Law and Law of Obligations, actively supervising PhD candidates including Q. Li (2025). Her research spans Competition Law, Consumer Law, European Private Law, and Law and Technology with focus on digital platforms.
Her research interests center on Competition Law in digital markets, Consumer Law enforcement, and European Private Law evolution.
