Carolin Odebrecht is a Researcher and Scientific Associate at the Humboldt University of Berlin's Faculty of Linguistics and Literature, specializing in Corpus Linguistics and Morphology. She serves as the Representative for Research Data Management and coordinates the Interdisciplinary Center for Digitality and Digital Methods. Her roles include leading projects like CLS INFRA (computational literary studies infrastructure) and LAUDATIO (long-term data repository). She holds a PhD (2018) and Master's degree from Humboldt University.
Research Interests: Interdisciplinary research at the intersection of corpus linguistics, computational methods, and digital humanities. Focus areas include historical text corpora, model-based annotation architectures, metadata modeling, and agile project management. Her work emphasizes data reusability and infrastructure development for linguistic research.
Key Projects: RIDGES Herbology (16th–19th century German scientific language), ELTeC (European Literary Text Collection), and LAUDATIO Repository. She contributes to tools like ANNIS (corpus search system) and SaltNPepper (corpus converter).
