Dr. Carol Shieh is a Professor at Indiana University School of Nursing in the Department of Community and Health Systems. She holds a DNSc from Yale University, MPH from University of Minnesota, and MS/BSN from Kaohsiung Medical College, Taiwan. Her research targets maternal-infant health disparities through evidence-based interventions.

Dr. Shieh investigates health behavior modification in pregnancy using self-monitoring and community-engagement frameworks. Key areas include:
