Carol Sansone is Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Utah's Department of Psychology. Her research investigates intrinsic motivation processes, focusing on how individuals self-regulate interest during learning and performance. Current projects examine gender differences in STEM motivation and online learning dynamics.
She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses including Social Psychology (PSY2500), Advanced Social Psychology (PSY5410/6410), Research Methods in Social Psychology (PSY5420/6420), and co-teaches a Graduate Seminar on Motivation and Diversity (PSY7963). Research domains include:
