Carol S. Browne

Dr. Carol S. Browne serves as Professor and Chair of Osteopathic Principles and Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. Board-certified in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, she develops curricula integrating osteopathic principles with clinical practice.

Her academic focus includes osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) techniques, family medicine training paradigms, and competency-based medical education. Previously, she received multiple teaching awards at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, including recognition as Osteopathic Educator of the Year.

Dr. Browne maintains active leadership in medical boards and professional associations, including directorship roles at the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and executive positions in state osteopathic societies. She contributes to national medical licensing examinations as a COMLEX test developer.
