Carol Potter is an Affiliate Faculty member in the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Antioch University. A distinguished poet, her work has appeared in prestigious journals such as The Kenyon Review, Poetry Daily, and Verse Daily. Potter has received numerous accolades, including the 2021 Pacific Coast Series Award and multiple Massachusetts Council of the Arts Awards.
- Educational Background: MFA in Poetry and BA in English/Journalism with a Women’s Studies certificate, both from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Her research and teaching interests focus on poetry, creative writing, GLBT literature, and women’s studies. She emphasizes the balance between poetic craft and raw emotional authenticity in her pedagogy.
