Carol Beckel is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at Saint Louis University's Doisy College of Health Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Studies, an MA in Higher Education, and a BS in Physical Therapy, all from Saint Louis University.
Research & Professional Engagement: Her work focuses on Clinical Education and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives in physical therapy. She actively contributes to professional organizations including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), serving in leadership roles such as Chair of the Institute of Community Education and on the APTA Missouri DEI Committee.
