Professor Carmine Pariante is a leading academic in Biological Psychiatry at King’s College London and a Consultant Perinatal Psychiatrist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. His research focuses on stress, inflammation, and their roles in mental disorders, particularly depression, fatigue, and perinatal mental health. He has published over 330 papers (H-Index 72) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Brain, Behavior, and Immunity. Key awards include the NARSAD Distinguished Investigator Award and the ACNP Media Award.
