Dr. Carmen Culotta serves as a Research Associate at the University of Cincinnati's Evaluation Services Center, leading projects focused on K-12 family/school partnerships, community mental health, and STEM higher education initiatives. Previously, she worked as an Associate Trial Consultant and taught at Wright State University's Department of Psychology (2014-2019). She currently teaches PRFS 1001, a first-year experience course for Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services majors at UC.

Her research and teaching emphasize adolescent peer relationships, positive youth development, and applied educational strategies. Beyond academia, she actively engages in community service: serving as an Executive Board Member of the Norris Cole Foundation (2018-19) for youth literacy, a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Montgomery County Juvenile Court (2017-2023), and a member of Dayton City Commission's Police Use of Force Committee (2022).
